New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) In a strange twist to a 'missing' woman's tale, a court in Kerala has allowed a married woman, traced by the CBI three years after she went missing, to stay with her 'new husband' as she had a son borne of him.

Vidhya, wife of a Trivandrum resident Pratap Chandra Nair, had gone 'missing' in April 2003 while on her way to Paruthipally from Paramuku along with her mother-in-law and son, according to the CBI.

Her mother-in-law later said Vidhya got down at Aryanadu bus stand and was not found later.

The case was later handed over to the CBI on the orders of the Kerala High Court.

Responding to an advertisement of the CBI, announcing a reward of Rs 50,000 for any information on the woman and her child, a woman contacted the agency with details.

During investigations, Vidhya was found to be living at Panditwada in Ponda with her 'new husband' Raju and a child borne out of him.

The court after hearing all sides allowed Vidhya to stay with her 'new husband' but asked her to settle the marital issue with the family court.
