INTUC(TN) given two seats for TN polls
Chennai, Mar 9 (UNI) The ruling AIADMK today finalised a seat-sharing agreement with the Congress-affiliated Indian National Trade Union Congress (Tamil Nadu) under which the latter was allotted two seats to contest in the May eight Assembly elections in the state.
AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa and INTUC (TN) President P L Subbaiah and General Secretary G Kaalan signed the agreement at her Poes Garden residence here.
The AIADMK had already clinched an electoral pact with the Marumalarchi DMK (MDMK), Dalit Panthers of India (DPI), Moovendhar Munnetra Kazhagam(MMK) and the Puducherry Munnetra Congress(PMC) in Pondicherry.
