Former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar admitted to AIIMS

New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar was today admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

The 80 year-old socialist leader has not been keeping well for the last several months.

Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat visited the former Prime Minister at AIIMS.

Mr Shekhawat, who was accompanied by AIIMS director Venugopal and former Minister of State for External Affairs Digvijay Singh, wished Mr Chandrashekhar speedy recovery and a long life.

During his visit, Mr Shekhawat also enquired after the health of former minister in the Rajasthan Government, Banwarilal Sharma.
