Patna, Mar 9 (UNI) The BJP today announced to launch ''Rashtriya Ekta Yatra'' from April 6 against the attempts of the Congress and the Left parties to disturb communal harmony and their 'minority appeasement' policy.

BJP president Rajnath Singh told newspersons here that the Congress, left parties and other so called secular parties were 'adamant' to tear apart the secular fabric of the country.

''I and former party president Lal Krishna Advani would launch the said journey to apprise people of 'appeasemet policy' of these parties,'' he added.

Mr Singh said his party was not in favour of discrimination against any particular social group and contended that the BJP was following the policy of ''justice to all''. He alleged that the Congress and the left parties were the ''most communal parties'' and said that his party would oppose their policy of appeasement both inside and outside the Parliament.

The BJP President said the UPA government exposed its ''softness'' towards terrorism by scrapping POTA soon after coming to power thus fuelling a number of terrorists attacks. He said the political centre-- Delhi, religious centre -- Varanasi and science centre -- Bangalore faced onslaught by the terrorist attacks. He said ''softness towards terrorism'' had the potential of disturbing communal harmony and alleged that the UPA government had in fact even tried to ''lower the dignity of the constitutional bodies''.

He said the Supreme Courts comments against the former Bihar governor and Jharkhand governor and also railway minister accusations against the Election Commission by branding it as a ''casteist boy'' were open testimonies to it.

Mr Singh said the number of Bangladeshi insurgents was on ''constant rise.'' Quoting the Assam governor, he informed, ''6,000 insurgents were entering into the country''.

He said, ''Immediate ban should be imposed on the conversion on religious lines.'' UNI DH TJP AKP ARB RK2115
