Bellary records maximum temp of 37.3 degree celsius

Bangalore Mar 9 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): B.Bagewadi, Afzalpur one each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures rose at most places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka; rose at many places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over South Interior Karnataka.

They were below normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 37.3 degree celsius and Dharwad recorded lowest minimum temperature of 17.4 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning : Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers forecast : Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city : Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 31 degree celsius and 19 degree celsius respectively.
