Aged woman grievously wounded, robbed of Rs 4 lakh

Kanpur, Mar 9 (UNI) Miscreants inflicted grievous wounds to an aged woman in the Kakadeo area here today before decamping with cash and ornaments worth Rs 4 lakh.

Police said Jasbir Kaur was alone in her house when four men, armed with sharp-edged weapons, attacked her and made away with the booty.

She was later taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Later, three persons, identified as Manoj, Suresh and Ramakant were arrested.
