3 persons murdered by Naxals in Vidarbha
Nagpur, Mar 9 (UNI) Naxalites killed a villager from Chaudiyal in Dhanora taluka of Gadchiroli district on Tuesday, police said today.
On the same day, two former Naxalites, who had surrendered themselves under the State Government's clemency scheme, were killed by their former colleagues in Gondia district.
Around 25 Naxals reached Dhaniram Usendi's house at about 2300 hours Tuesday last and dragged him to a secluded spot after waking him up from his sleep. Dhaniram was killed after being stabbed with sharp weapons, police said. However, the police have not been able to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
Two former Naxalites -- Ramaji Shankar Tulari (38) and Shamlal Shishupal Gawade (35), who had surendered before the police four months back, were killed by their former colleagues near Chichgarh police outpost in Deori taluka of Gondia district, police said. Both of them hailed from Ambekhari village in Korachi taluka of the same district.
