Tech Mahindra, Intel establish telecom solutions lab in Pune

Mumbai, Mar 8 (UNI) Tech Mahindra, one of India's largest software exporters and solution providers to telecom companies worldwide, and Intel launched a next generation telecom solutions lab at the former's Pune development center.

The lab showcases Tech Mahindra's next generation telecom application proof-of-concepts viz IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)-based video-on-demand (VoD) with real time charging, IP conferencing and universal personal number hosted on Intel carrier grade servers, the release said.

This Next Generation Telecom Solutions Lab being launched today will enable fast and cost effective validation and deployment of new IP-based application offerings and will be an invaluable resource for our clientele,'' said Vineet Nayyar, Vice Chairman and MD, Tech Mahindra, in the release.
