Silver opens steady, gold weak on bearish global advice

Mumbai, Mar 8: Values of silver resumed steady on moderate demand while that of gold remained weak in the opening session on bearish global advice, traders at the bullion market here today said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade : Rs 14,250, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 7,995, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,035.
