Security measures tightened at religious places

Ranchi, Mar 8 (UNI) Security measures were tightened at all religious places, including temple town Deoghar where famous 'Baba Dham' is located, in the wake of bomb blasts in Varanasi last evening.

Official sources said the state government has taken necessary security measures in the religious and vulnerable areas following a general alert sounded by the centre following the Varanasi blasts.

The government has directed all the district Superintendent of Police to remain alert and take special security measures at all the important places and institutions, sources added.
