More stoppage for rails in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 8: To clear the extra rush of passengers in connection with the annual ''Pongala Mahotsavam'' at Attukal Bhagavathy Temple, here, additional stops have been provided for the following trains between Kollam-Thiruvananthapuram on March 13, a SR said today (Mar 8, 2006).

Palakkad Town-Thiruvananthapuram Amritha express will stop at Mayyanad, Paravur, Kappil, Varkala, Kadakkavur, Chirayinkil, Murukkumpuzha, Kazhakuttam and Kochuveli stations.

Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Intercity Express, Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Vanchinad Express and Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Malabar express will stop at all the stations between Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam.

Additional coaches will be provided for the following trains from March 11 to 13. The Thiruvananthapuram-Nagercoil- Thiruvananthapuram Passenger, Kollam-Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam Passenger and Thiruvananthapuram-Palakkad Amritha Express.

Additional coaches will also provided in Thiruvananthapuram- Mangalore Malabar express on the same day, the release added.
