Maoist held in AP

Visakhapatnam, Mar 8 (UNI) Police today arrested a member of CPI (Maoists) at Surinetta Village of G Madugula Mandal of the district today.

Superintendent of Police V V Srinivasa Rao said D Suribabu alias Ramu (17) was an active member of Korukonga Local Guerilla Squad.

He was one of the accused in the killing of G Balappi, a Home Guard, earlier this year.

The young insurgent was arrested when he visited his home in the village this morning, the SP added.
