Journalist faces wrath of VHP activists
Varanasi, Mar 8 (UNI) A senior journalist of a popular Hindi daily faced the wrath of VHP activists at a news conference being addressed by Parishad president Ashok Singhal here this evening.
Mr Dinesh Chandra Mishra, chief reporter of Amar Ujala, attracted the ire of VHP workers for posing a pointed query to Singhal.
While, the agitated activists hurled expletives at Mishra and tried to manhandle him, Singhal tried to calm down their tempers and requested them to show restraint.
The Parishad activists got agitated when the scribe asked Mr Singhal about his next line of action in the aftermath of the Varanasi blasts.
