India provides Rs 24,820,359 for school construction
Kathmandu, Mar 8 (UNI) Indian has provided Rs 24,820,359 for construction of Shree Secondary School and Mahendra Library in Nepalgunj here.
Indian Ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shankar Mukherjee laid the foundation stone for the construction of School building yesterday.
The school building named 'Nepal Bharat Maitri Bhawan' will be constructed at a cost of Rs 23,600,928 provided by the Indian Government, according to a release issued by the Indian embassy here today.
Mr Mukherjee also inaugurated Mahendra Library constructed with assistance of Rs 1,219,431.
''These projects are a testament to the deepening ties of India-Nepal economic cooperation and are also examples of India's commitment to strengthening and diversifying this cooperation in education,'' the release added.
