Ganguly' flight delayed, to reach just in time for Deodhar match

Kolkata, Mar 8 (UNI) Sourav Ganguly, who is to play in a Deodhar Trophy match in Jaipur tomorrow, could not leave the city this morning as his New Delhi-bound flight was inordinately delayed due to fog.

The former India captain will now leave for the nation's capital in the evening from where he will start for Jaipur for East Zone's last tie against North Zone in Deodhar Trophy tomorrow.

The Indian Airlines flight was delayed due to fog that prevented any planes taking off from the airport. Realising that he would fail to take the connecting flight to Jaipur, he returned home.

However, he looked in a positive frame of mind and expressed his willingness to play the Ranji national one-dayers also.
