Bomb scare in Tolstoy Building in Connaught Place

New Delhi, Mar 8: Panic gripped the Connaught Place area here as news of a bomb being planted in a building spread this afternoon.

A call of a bomb being planted in Tolstoy Building on Tolstoy Marg was received at about 1545 hrs after which the area was cordoned off and a search was conducted, said a police official.

People were asked to vacate the building and a search through sniffer dogs and detectors were being carried out, he said.

Up till now nothing suspicious has been found, the officer added.
