Bomb hits Iraq interior minister's convoy, one killed

BAGHDAD, Mar 8: A roadside bomb hit a convoy of cars of Iraq's interior minister in Baghdad today, killing at least one person, but minister Bayan Jabor was not present, ministry sources said.

Other ministry sources said that two were killed and one wounded.

The cars had just left the interior ministry compound to go to a petrol station to fill up their tanks when the bomb exploded, the sources said.
