BCC organises fashion extravaganza

Kolkata, Mar 8 (UNI) As many as 25 leading fashion designers in the country like Anshu Modi, Shamlu Dudeja and Abhishek Dutta will take part in a day-long fashion extravaganza here on March 12.

Organised by the premier Bharat Chamber of Commerce(BCC) for the first time, the fashion show would provide the right platform to the region's budding fashion designers, claimed BCC President and noted industrialist Santosh Rungta.

Speaking to newsmen before the show, Mr Rungta said besides the leading designers, all popular models including Viveka Babaji, Aanchal Kumar, Tapur Chatterjee, Sheetal Memon, Priyanka, Kaninika, and Tanushree would walk the ramp displaying the latest design trends.

He said the show was being organised with an innovative theme to focus on the emerging opportunities of business in the fashion world. It also aimed at providing a platform to the budding and talented fashion designers to explore the vast potential and possibilities in different sectors of fashions like designing, he said.

As a unique feature of the show some leading industrialists would also participate in the day long event.
