Assembly condmens Varanasi twin blasts
Ranchi, Mar 8 (UNI) The Jharkhand Assembly today condemned yesterday's twin blasts, including one at the Sankatmochan temple, in which several people were killed in Varanasi.
Condmening the attack, Speaker Indersingh Namdhari expressed sorrow over the incident and said it was an act of anti-national elements.
All efforts should be made to identify these pernicious elements and stringment action should be taken against them.
Earlier, the members of the Treasury benches shouted slogans in protest against the incident and came to the well of the House.
The Opposition members also shouted slogans against the state government's decision to appoint a Singpore-based company as consultants to improve the sewerage and drainage system in the capital town and demanded an inquiry into it.
