AP CM inaugurates mega health camp at Sanghinagar

Hyderabad, Mar 08 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy today inaugurated a Mega Health Camp organised on the occasion of International Women's Day celebrations at Sanghinagar under the aegis of Industrialist and Rajya Sabha member Gireesh Kumar Sanghi.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Reddy appreciated the efforts of Gireesh Sanghi in organising them camp.

He said such initiatives would go a long way in helping the people who are in need of healthcare. ''I also wish many happy-returns-of-the-day to Mr Gireesh Sanghi on his 51st birthday", he added.

Andhra Pradesh Health and Finance Minister K Rosaiah said the people should understand the importance of health camp and take maximum advantage.

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and Malakpet MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy also participated in the programme.

Explaining about the camp, Social Worker Badrivishal Bansal said that about 25,000 patients were registered in the camp and many more are expected to register.

He said 500 doctors and other medical staff from government and private hospitals are on the job.
