97 ticked off voters list

Siliguri, Mar 8 (UNI) Altogether 97 voters with non-bailable warrants have been deleted from the voter list of Siliguri and Phansidewa Assembly constituency.

Siliguri sub-divisional officer Bidyut Bhattacharya said the two constituencies has 125 voters against whom non-bailable warrants has been issued. However, 28 voters out of the 125 had surrendered before the EC and were re-enlisted.

Mr Bhattacharya further informed that 11,208 names from Siliguri and Phansidewa constituency were deleted till Februray 22.
