Warne makes acting debut
Sydney, Mar 7 (UNI) Never shy of hogging the limelight, champion leg-spinner has now dabbled in acting and is making a debut in 'Neighbours', Australia's most popular weekday soap opera.
Playing himself, Warne filmed three scenes over a two-hour period as his children Brooke and Jackson watched him, Herald Sun reported today.
According to the paper, the scenes show Warne visiting Ramsay Street in Erinsborough in Melbourne to collect a donation for his 'Shane Warne Foundation', which raises money for seriously ill and underprivileged kids.
He had several lines of dialogue to perform and even bowled a ball to a youth for the cameras, the newspaper said.
Two episodes featuring Warne will screen on Channel 10 on July 6 and 7.
