Rupee opens weaker at 44.34/35 per US dollar
Mumbai, Mar 07: Rupee today (Mar 07, 2006) opened weaker by three paise at 44.34/35, as against the last close of 44.31/32, a dealer at the forex market here said.
The rupee traded at 44.3250/3350 at 1157 hrs, the dealer added.
The inflow of Rs 390 crore in the stock markets on Friday, as reported by SEBI, is likely to cushion rupee against the dollar.

The crude oil prices traded lower at USD 62.29 per barrel in the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) which will support rupee at lower levels.
