Randhawa, Atwal, Shiv move up ranking ladder
New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) Jyoti Randhawa moved up a place at 107th to remain the highest placed Indian while Arjun Atwal and Shiv Kapur too climbed the ladder to finish 132nd and 135th respectively in the latest Official World Golf Rankings.
Randhawa (1.28) moved a rung from his last week's 108th place, while Orlando-based Atwal (1.12), who finished tied 35th in the 5.5 million Ford Championship, climbed five notches to 132.
Immensely talented Shiv Kapur (1.10), tied seventh in Indonesian Open, reduced the gap with Atwal and breathes down his senior compatriot, just three place behind.
Jeev Milkha Singh (.42) remains at 329.
Tiger Woods, after successfully defending the Doral Championship, extended his lead over Vijay Singh to 9.15 points at the top of the table. Britain's Simon Dyson leapfrogged 60 places to 140th in the ladder after his win at the Indonesian Open.
