Olmert sees reduced spending on W.Bank settlements
JERUSALEM, Mar 7 (Reuters) Interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said today he would reduce spending on Jewish settlements in the West Bank, underscoring plans to quit some of the occupied land if his Kadima Party wins election this month.
''It is no secret that, in the coming years, we will not invest the sums that were once invested in construction and infrastructure development in areas outside the green line,'' Olmert told a business conference in Tel Aviv, referring to Israel's boundary with the West Bank.
