IA launches 'Uniquely Singapore Family Saver' offer

Chennai, Mar 7 (UNI) Indian Airlines has launched a unique offer, a 'value for money' vacation trip to Singapore for families in the approaching summer.

'The Uniquely Singapore Family Saver' offered two free tickets to accompanying passengers on purchase of two Chennai-Singapore-Chennai tickets, by which four could fly for the price of two. Tickets might be booked from March seven to 31 for travel from April one to 30 June 2006, a release here said today.

The two paid ticket holders had to pay Rs 20,900 per person in Economy class (plus taxes) and Rs 28,600 per person in Executive class (plus taxes), while the two accompanying free ticket recipients had to pay only the taxes of approximately Rs 3,361 per person.

The scheme required all four members to travel together on the same flight, date and class on outbound and inbound journeys.

This offer was also available for passengers from Coimbatore, Tiruchirapalli, Madurai, Thiruvanthapuram, Kozhikode and Kochi. The fare paying passengers' tickets could be purchased at Indian Airlines offices or from any IA approved travel agencies.

For this summer, Singapore offered a host of new and exciting attractions like the Sentosa Luge ride and the 4D Magix theatre on Sentosa as well as new exhibits and experiences at the highly popular Singapore Zoo and Jurong Birdpark.

Other events which Indian travellers to Singapore could look forward to included the Great Singapore Sale, May 26 to July 23, the Singapore Fashion Festival, March 24 to April two and Singapore Arts Festival from June one to 25, the release added.
