Eight-day Meghalaya budget session begins from Mar 17
Shillong, Mar 7 (UNI) The eight-day budget session in Meghalaya will begin from March 17.
According to the calendar dates for the session, six days have been alloted for government business while the remaining two days are meant for private members' business.
Government business would include laying of ordinances, notifications, and voting on supplementary demands.
The presentation of budget estimates for the next financial year has been slated for March 20.
Members will have an oppportunity to debate on the governor's address for three days on March 22, 24 and 27.
The Chief Minister will reply to the debate on March 27.
March 28 is the last day of the session.
