Digvijay hails nuclear agreement

Bhopal, Mar 7(UNI) Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh today hailed the Indo-US nuclear agreement saying it was a 'diplomatic coup'.

''Credit for the diplomatic victory goes to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,'' Mr Singh told reporters at the Assembly premises here.

''For a long time we were not getting advanced technology for our nuclear power plants and the agreement will help us to tide over the power shortage,'' he said.
