Child traffickers nabbed

Barasat, Mar 7: Police arrested a gang of five child traffickers along with 12 minor boys from a Hasnabad passenger train here at Barasat Railway Station of Sealdah Division in Eastern Railway, Government Railway Police said today.

The GRP said the miscreants along with the boys were on their way to Mumbai.

They had a plan to sell the boys as child labourers.

The boys were brought from different areas of Basirhat Sub-Division in North 24 Parganas.

GRP registered a case and produced all the accused before the court today.
