New Delhi, Mar 7: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has convened a meeting of party leaders at the residence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee this evening to firm up its opinion on the Indo-US Nuclear deal.

The decision of the party comes in the wake of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statement in Parliament detailing about the understanding reached between the two countries on the separation of civilian and military nuclear energy facilities.

He also stated that the India had offered 14 of the 22 thermal power reactors for International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards by 2014 in a phased manner.

Talking to newspersons, BJP Parliamentary Party Spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra said the party would give its reaction to the agreement between the two countries after the leaders deliberate over the issue.
