To provide strategic outsourcing to Granules

Hyderabad, Mar 06 (UNI) SQL Star International Limited, on IT knowledge and enterprise service organization has bagged the first strategic outsourcing contract in the SME market segment.

Granules India Ltd, a fully integrated Pharmaceutical formulations manufacturer with the world's largest 'granulation' capacity, has entered into an agreement to outsource its entire Information Technology (IT) management to SQL Star, according to a press conference.

This strategic contract will include Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution deployment, Radio Frequency Idenfification (RFID) solution, Process Control Systems integration&implementation, and IT facilities and operations management.

SQL Star will integrate Granul's processes across the entire supply chain, finance and HR covering operations spread across their headquarters at Hyderabad, three plants in India, Sales and Marketing office in the United States and the logistics, distribution and technical support network globally.

The ERP implementation is scheduled to be operational from July one this year, the release said.
