Thundershowers likely to occur in North East
Pune, Mar 6 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim.
The rains or thundershowers are also likely to occur in Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and Kerala.
Dry weather will prevail in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and coastal Karnataka.
Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and north Rajasthan and were appreciably above normal in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, south Rajasthan, south Konkan and Goa.
The temperatures were above normal in Assaam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan east Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, south Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
They were appreciably below normal in Orissa and were below normal in Gujarat Region, Marathwada and Telangana.
They were normal over the rest of the country.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of south Konkan and were below normal in Madhya Maharashtra. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Haryana, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and south Andhra Pradesh and were above normal in Assam and Meghalaya, Triupura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, interior Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat state, Chattisgarh, north Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Rain or thundershowers had occurred at many places in south interior Karnataka and at few places in Orissa, Rayalaseema and Kerala.
Rain or thundershowers had also occurred at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, east Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
