Portion of building collapses in explosion, naxal hand suspected
Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 6 (UNI) A portion of an old, two-storeyed building collapsed when it was rocked by an explosion at Arundelpet area here this morning, according to the police.
Police said CPI (Maoist) naxals could have been responsible for the explosion and added however, there were no casualties nor injuries to anybody in the explosion.
The ground floor of the building houses the godown of a well- known company marketing seeds.
The hand of the naxals was being suspected as they were active in Guntur district, police added.
