Pick-pocketers deprive people of Rs 37,500 at Congress rally
Hisar, Mar 6 (UNI) Pick-pocketers had a field day during the rally organised by the Haryana Congress party on the occasion of completion of one year of the Bhupinder Singh Hooda Government in office here yesterday.
Despite strict security arrangements, they picked Rs 37,500 from the pockets of the people who came to attend the rally.
Confirming the thefts at the rally, Superintendent of Police AS Chawla said that at least five persons had made complaints to the police about pick-pocketing.
He said cases had been registered in this regard and investigations were on.
