One person sustains minor burn injuries

Mumbai, Mar 6 (UNI) A person suffered minor burn injuries in a fire, which broke out in a chemical factory, at Turbhe in the neighbouring Thane district today.

Vashi fire brigade sources said the fire broke out in Nidhip Chemicals Private Limited, at around 1140 hrs, when the workers were busy mixing some liquid chemicals.

Five fire engines were pressed into the service, and after two hours of fire-fighting operation, they succeeded in extinguishing the blaze, the sources added.

The injured person, identified as Sher Bahadur, has been admitted to a civil hospital there.
