Schools reopen in Kashmir after winter vacations

Srinagar, Mar 06: All the educational instutitions reopened in the Kashmir valley and Ladakh region after winter vacation.

The instutitions were scheduled to reopen on March three, but the divisional authtorities decided to extend the vacation for three more days following fresh snowfall on upper reaches which had resulted in a drop in the temperature.

All the educational instutitons, including government and private run schools in the Kashmir valley and Ladakh region were closed in December last year.
