J Choo signs exclusive distribution agreement with Murjani

Mumbai, Mar 6 (UNI) Jimmy Choo Ltd today announced that the company has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with the Murjani Group, as part of its global expansion programme.

A Jimmy Choo release here today said that the company will open its exclusive boutiques in Delhi and Mumbai next year and has plans to open total 10 stores by 2011.

Welcoming the agreement, Jimmy Choo Ltd Founder and President Tamara Mellon and CEO Robert Bensoussan said: ''The management of Jimmy Choo is delighted with today's announcement. The brand is recognised and favoured by international stars and elegant women alike was launched in 1996. It opened its first boutique in the same year in London's exclusive Knightsbridge.'' ''With currently 35 stores worldwide, Jimmy Choo now looks to an expansion programme that will include a total of 50 stores by 2008, the release added.
