Chartered accountant remanded to judicial custody

Mumbai, Mar 6 (UNI) Bharat Dudhani, a chartered accountant arrested in an extortion case involving underworld don Chhota Rajan's wife Sujata Nikhalje, was today remanded to judicial custody till March ten by MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) Judge Ashok Bhangale.

The court remanded Dudhani to judicial custody as the prosecution did not seek his further police remand.

In all six persons have been arrested in the case, which includes Rajan's wife, his elder brother Prakash Nikhalje and their three accomplices--Suresh Shinde, Harvinder Singh alias Kookoo Daruwala, Rakesh Surve-- and chartered accountant Bharat Dudhani.

All the accused in this case are now in the judicial custody till March ten.
