Centre to check unsoliciated calls on phone within two weeks
New Delhi, Mar 6 (UNI) The Centre today informed the Supreme Court that it would find a solution to the problem of unsolicited calls being received by the users of mobile phones as well as basic landline users within two weeks.
Additonal Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam told the bench, comprising Ms Justice Ruma Pal and Mr Justice Dalveer Bhandari, that the state would certainly find a solution to the problem within two weeks.
The counsel also told the court that the department of telecommunication would call all the cellular service providers to find the solution to the problem.
''You must find some solution as it is a serious problem'', Justice Pal remarked.
