Body of BIT student found on rail track

Ranchi, Mar 6 (UNI) Railway police today recovered the body of a final sememster student of the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) from a rail track near Birsa chowk here.

Police said the deceased, Monazir Ansari, had been identified as the son of senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and former Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly Hazi Hussain Ansari.

Police were investigating the cause of death.

They however, did not rule out the possibility of a suicide case keeping in view a number of suicide cases in the past few years by the students of BIT.
