BJP, TRS seek minister's dismissal

Hyderabad, Mar 06: Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Unit demanded the Andhra Pradesh Government to dismiss the Panchayat Raj minister JC Divakar Reddy for opposing the implementation of Government Order 610.

Addressing newspersons here yesterday, BJP State President N Indrasena Reddy pointed out that the minister was making statements against the implementation of 610 GO, despite the Government announcement to implement the GO strictly.

Mr Reddy alleged that the minister was raising the issue of considering Hyderabad zone as free zone, which came under sixth zone as per the GO.

Reiterating that the Government make a statement on the implementation of GO in the Assembly, TRS MLA N Narasimha Reddy alleged that the minister was making statments against the interests of the state.

As a responsible minister, Mr Reddy should follow the Government orders and work for its success, he added.
