BJP appoints fact finding committee to probe violence

Panaji, Mar 6 (UNI) The BJP today appointed a three-member fact finding committee to probe into the ''illegal'' construction at Guddemal in Sanvardem and the rioting in Curchorem last week.

State BJP president Rajendra Arlekar, in a press release here today, stated that former Law Minister Fransic D'Souza, MLA, would be the chairman of the committee which includes legislators Laxmikant Parsekar and Viswas Satarkar as members.

The committee is expected to submit its findings to party president Rajnath Singh in a couple of days, the release added.
