Bank staff to organise protest march to Parliament
Patna, Mar 6 (UNI) Employees of the Regional Rural Banks(RRBs) will participate in protest march to Parliament on April 5 to press the government for accepting their charter of demands.
In a release, Mr D N Trivedi, general secretary of the All India Gramin Bank employees Association, said representatives of more than 14,500 branches of RRBs would participate in protest march on the call of the United Forum of RRB Unions(UFFRRBU) comprising six unions operating in RRB.
The staff of the rural Banks were demanding service regulation and pension scheme on the pattern of other commercialised Banks.
Employees of the rural Banks would also organise day-long dharna in New Delhi on the day of the protest march.
