APSRTC makes Rs 33 lakh during 'Mahasivaratri'

Tirupati, Mar 6 (UNI) The APSRTC earned Rs 32.97 lakh income in Tirupati region during the 'Mahasivaratri' festival which commenced on February 25.

APSRTC Chief Inspector Ram Mohan told UNI here today this was against Rs 27 lakh earned last year. The corporation operated 406 special buses to various Shiva temples during the festival.

It also ran 25 special buses to Srisailam in Kurnool district on the festival day, he added.
