Ang Lee wins Oscar for directing "Brokeback"
LOS ANGELES, Mar 6 (Reuters) Taiwan-born Ang Lee won the Oscar for best director on Sunday for ''Brokeback Mountain,'' a gay romance about two cowboys whose love for each other spans decades.
The film, based on a short story by Annie Proulx, became a box office success and a hit with critics.
