Amritsar-Nankana Sahib bus service to begin from March 24

New Delhi, Mar 6: Bus service between Amritsar and Nankana Sahib will start from March 24 as against March 10 announced earlier, sources said.

While the bus will leave from Amritsar on March 24 for Nankana Sahib, it will start from Nankana Sahib on March 28.

The bus service was earlier scheduled to start from March 10. It was, however, postponed till March 24 on Pakistan's request as the infrastructure and other facilities on that side of the border were not ready, the sources added.

The trial run of the bus from the Indian side was held on January 27.
