Yuvraj, Munaf named in place of Raina and VRV Singh for 2nd test

Nagpur, Mar 5 (UNI) National selectors today made two changes in the squad that played in the first Test here for the second Test beginning at Mohali from March 9, bringing in Yuvraj Singh and paceman Munaf Patel in place of Suresh Raina and VRV Singh.

Speaking to reporters after the selection committee meeting, Chairman of selectors Kiran More said Maharashtra pace bowler Munaf Patel was chosen in the side on the back of his good performances in domestic circuit and against England in a tour game at Baroda where he took 10 wickets in the match.

He further said that a fit Yuvraj Singh selects himself into the team following the great form that he is in.

More also said that Suresh Raina and VRV Singh should not feel bad over their exclusion as they would get their chances at the right time in future.
