VHP to launch movement to 'liberalise' temples from AP govt
Tirupati, Mar 4 (UNI) Alleging that the state government was interfering in the administration of temples, VHP president Ashok Singhal said the organisation would start a massive moment for the ''liberation'' of temples in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr Singhal, who is here to participate in 11th Dharma Sansad of the southern states, also expressed his dissatisfaction over the move to construct a ropeway between Tirupati and Tirumala alleging that the temples in converted into tourist spots for commercial purpose.
Regarding Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) funds, he said the entire revenue was being taken by the government.
Responding to a question, he said the government has no right to define the boundaries the world famous Tirumala temple.
