Tiwari adamant on his decision
Dehradun, Mar 5 (UNI) Uttaranchal Chief Minister N D Tiwari seems adamant on his decision to quit office as Congress in-charge of the state Motilal Vora too could not persuade him to change his mind.
Mr Vora, who was on a two-day visit to three districts of Uttaranchal, after meeting Mr Tiwari at his residence told UNI that Mr Tiwari was adamant on his decision and would soon leave for Delhi to meet Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
Denying any uncertainty in the state following the announcement by the Chief Minister, Mr Vora said that everything was ''going fine''.
He further added that he would put the matter in front of High Command. ''It is high command's discretion to decide under whose leadership the forthcoming election was to be fought,'' he said.
