Sharad Pawar holds separate meetings with senior players, coach
Nagpur, March 5 (UNI) Amid rumours that all was not well between coach Greg Chappell and some Team India members, four senior cricketers -- skipper Rahul Dravid, vice-captain Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble -- called on BCCI chief Sharad Pawar here at the team hotel late this evening.
However, the details of meeting were no known yet.
Earlier, Mr Pawar also had a meeting with Chappell apparently to ask the coach's explanation for his recent remarks against former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly in an interview to the English newspaper The Guardian.
At the moment, Mr Pawar was having a close door meeting with BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah and vice-president Shashank Manohar, reliable sources told UNI.
